Our limited-edition beer, celebrating the King, is ready to hit the shelves for a “quick in and out.”
100 kg of organic cucumbers and 160 kg of Golden Dewlicious melons were peeled by hand and crushed in an apple press to extract their juice.
A laborious process that allowed us to harvest the essential ingredient to capture that fresh and unique flavor in every bottle.
La Roi Concombre is a Californian Ale (brewed with San Diego Super yeast) where the cucumber reigns supreme.
The king’s reign is short-lived, though, as the melon will also make its presence known on the palate.
Undeniable freshness, a hoppy finish that recalls exotic fruits—each sip is an experience in itself.
Those with a sharp memory will recall that La Roi Concombre once ruled the shelves, featuring the infamous Donald Trump on its label shortly after his election as president. “Grab them by the cucumber,” was the slogan of the time.
It’s no coincidence that we’ve chosen to brew this beer again this year, but you’ll understand why we’ve changed our illustration this time.
